At OSP, we are dedicated to enabling businesses through innovative solutions, and our training with Wolseley UK was no exception.
Led by Michael Bewley, our CAD team had the privilege of working closely with the Wolseley Space Planning team, equipping them with essential skills in CAD, CCM, and store surveying. With our tailored training programs, we helped the Wolseley team develop their CAD knowledge, enabling them to design store layouts that optimize space and enhance the customer experience. The subsequent CCM training gave them a competitive edge in managing their product categories and capacity efficiently, ensuring their customers find what they need easily.
Store surveying allows for the collection of valuable data and insights, and we worked hand in hand with Wolseley’s team to enhance their surveying skills, so that they are better positioned to make data-driven decisions for their stores.

‘OSP provided training sessions for the Wolseley team recently. Initially they trained us in using CCM (including the repository). Split across three days, this was the perfect way to help our new starters get up to speed while refining our existing team’s knowledge. The sessions were interactive and adaptive to our needs, and the team at OSP have been available to follow up and provide aftercare support if we’ve had any further questions following the training. The second session we had was around CAD planning, where we attended one of our stores and spent a day learning how to carry out a store survey, with a second day back in the office learning how to capture that survey in CAD.
The whole team lacked experience doing any of this kind of work before so OSP had their work cut out, but the training was well organised and highly practical which really helped our team develop their skills, and has since kicked off a floorplan capturing project.’
